Finally, Kudzu as a useful resource!

Clemson U. told my grandfather (in the 1950s) how wonderful Kudzu was as a renewable feed source for cows. Grandpa, new to the dairy business, took that advise to heart.

Truth is, cows HATE Kudzu. It grows so fast, they run away from it! Cowz ain't stupid!

I still look at the remnants of his farm and shake my head as to how the Kudzu has blanketed any and everything in its path...

So it is refreshing to know that Kudzu could actually be useful for SOMETHING...

ETHANOL production - I think I'll start brewing my own...for use in the bike, car, and lawnmower, of course...
