Microsoft just doesn't know when to leave well enough alone...

...I could just scream...but I won''s a sign of weakness...

Microsoft insists on dominating every medium, as evidenced in this latest effort to reinvent technologies that are already innovative, fully functioning, and reliable.

What is the most likely result? An even more confusing array of flashing tidbits and noise that's sure to induce migraines and epileptic seizures within the masses...

...and not to forget, more proprietary and incompatible media formats that will require the installation of cryptic and bug-riddled plug-ins...

Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated...

Oh dear.

I just got a Vista machine at work.

I kinda like it...maybe...sort of...

Say it isn't so...

Of course, it is a blatant plagiarism of Mac OS X...

Bill Gates - Villain Extraordinaire

I'm not making this up...really!

Bill Gates is Darth Vader!

You be the here.

His recreation however, is to relax as a mindless member of the collective...the Borg.

Apple...Mac OS the rescue!

Not that I am biased or anything...but Steve Jobs is a Saint.

Mac OS X is an incredible operating system. Sitting on top of Unix, it is practically bullet proof.

Want to run Windoze XP or Vista natively on an Apple Computer? No problem. With the release of Mac OS X Leopard, you will be able to boot in multiple operating systems--independently and natively (non-emulation).

How? Well Apple changed their hardware to the Intel Duo Core and Xeon Architecture some time ago and has been working with a software named BootCamp that allows those other operating systems (cough...Windows) to run natively on that architecture.

So now you can run really awful operating system(s) on your perfectly perfect Apple computer.

Kinda like jumping out of a finely functioning airplane with a parachute stuffed by someone else, I'd say...

Even the close minded, technically illiterate, corporate stuffed shirts are beginning to catch on... oops, did I say that out loud?

Plus...and you gonna love this... CIO switches his company from Windows to Macs

Imagine that ...Vista Sucks...even more than XP

As we walk blindly into the future with our technical pulse regulated by the almighty Microsoft, we find that Vista is a greedy and unforgiving environment. You know...Purgatory.

Run, as quickly as you can, and purchase XP while you can -- not that you will be better off...that is...really.

Oh, and yes its true, Microsoft Office 2007 is not backwards compatible with earlier versions of itself, unless you can easily train your staff to "Save As"... Oh yeah, I've tried this type of training, it's as elusive as dark matter.

The Problem with Computer Donations

Giving computers to schools should be a wonderful thing. However, some schools are rejecting computer donations...

Why is that?

Web Applications: The future of digital productivity?

I am very fond of WAPPs or Web-based Applications.

There is a bit of a stir related to the wonderful things that Google is doing for us who yearn to be highly productive without succumbing to the Microsoft juggernaut.

Here are some interesting articles on the subject:
